Privacy policy

PostMagic is operated by Emplica. This policy explains what data we collect when you use apppostmagic.com, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what rights you have over it.

By using the website, you accept this policy. If it does not suit you, please do not use the service.

1. Data controller

Emplica, reachable at contact@emplica.fr, decides the purposes and means of the processing described here.

2. Data we collect

2.1 Data you give us

  • Name: to personalise your workspace and recognise you.
  • Email address: to write to you about your account, your posts and any incident.
  • Payment details: handled and stored by Stripe. Your card number never passes through our servers.
  • Social network access tokens: required to publish on your behalf. These are not your passwords, which we never see.

2.2 Data collected automatically

Cookies record your IP address, browser, device and how you move through the site. We use them to measure traffic and fix what breaks.

4. How long we keep it

  • Account and content: as long as your account exists, then thirty days after deletion.
  • Network access tokens: until you disconnect the account, or revoke access from the network itself.
  • Invoices: ten years, as French commercial law requires.
  • Traffic measurement: thirteen months at most.

5. Who receives your data

We neither sell nor rent your data. It goes only to the providers the service needs: Google Firebase for hosting and authentication, Stripe for payments, and the social networks you choose to publish on.

Some of these providers are based in the United States. Transfers rely on the European Commission standard contractual clauses.

6. YouTube and Google services

PostMagic uses the YouTube API Services to publish on YouTube. By using them, you are also bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

You can revoke PostMagic access to your Google data at any time from your Google account permissions page.

7. Your rights

The GDPR gives you the right to access your data, correct it, erase it, restrict its processing, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and receive what you gave us in a machine-readable format.

Write to contact@emplica.fr to exercise any of these. We answer within a month. If our answer does not satisfy you, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority.

8. Security

Social network access tokens are encrypted, in transit and at rest. No system being infallible, we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable measures to protect what you entrust to us.

9. Minors

PostMagic is not aimed at children under fifteen and does not knowingly collect their data. If you believe this happened, write to us and we will delete the account.

10. Changes

This policy may change. Any significant change will be notified by email before it takes effect.
